Steamed Dumplings

Ingredients

- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/2 cup chopped water chestnut
- 1/4 cup chopped green onion
- 1/2 cup chopped bamboo shoot
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- wonton wrapper
- lettuce leaf
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon tabasco sauce
Recipe
- 1 combine turkey and vegetables in bowl; mix well.
- 2 add cornstarch, seasonings and 1 tbsp soy sauce; mix well.
- 3 spoon a small amount onto each wonton wrapper; moisten edges with water.
- 4 pleat or crimp with pot sticker maker to seal.
- 5 place in single layer in lettuce-lined steamer.
- 6 steam over boiling water for 6 minutes or until cooked through.
- 7 repeat with remaining dumplings.
- 8 serve with mixture of remaining 1/2 cup soy sauce, vinegar, oil and tabasco sauce for dipping.
