Steamed Dumplings

Total Time: 46 mins Preparation Time: 40 mins Cook Time: 6 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup chopped water chestnut
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped bamboo shoot
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • wonton wrapper
  • lettuce leaf
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon tabasco sauce

Recipe

  • 1 combine turkey and vegetables in bowl; mix well.
  • 2 add cornstarch, seasonings and 1 tbsp soy sauce; mix well.
  • 3 spoon a small amount onto each wonton wrapper; moisten edges with water.
  • 4 pleat or crimp with pot sticker maker to seal.
  • 5 place in single layer in lettuce-lined steamer.
  • 6 steam over boiling water for 6 minutes or until cooked through.
  • 7 repeat with remaining dumplings.
  • 8 serve with mixture of remaining 1/2 cup soy sauce, vinegar, oil and tabasco sauce for dipping.
