Teriyaki Burgers

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 250 g ground lean lamb
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 small potato
  • 1 garlic
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon oil, for the pan
  • teriyaki sauce
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 garlic
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/8-1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, to sprinkle

Recipe

  • 1 chop the veggies in a chopper.mix all ingredients for burgers, make patties and bake them in a nonstick pan.
  • 2 when done, take them out and add in the same pan the teriyaki sauce ingredients already mixed. stir till thickened.
  • 3 serve with rice - like japanese rice- a coleslaw and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
