Sweet 'n' Sour Meatballs

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup catsup
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 bell pepper, cut in strips
  • 1 (14 ounce) can chunk pineapple, drained
  • 12 freezer meatballs, thawed

Recipe

  • 1 in a large saucepan, combine all ingredients except bell pepper, pineapple, and meatballs; mix well. cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until sauce thickens. reduce heat. add pepper, pineapple and meatballs; simmer uncovered 10 minutes or until heated through. serve over rice or with toothpicks.
