Three In One Casserole

Ingredients

• 6 lamb chops
• 4 sweet potatoes
• 4 tart apples
• 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
• 1 dash pepper
• 1/8 teaspoon sage
• 1/4 cup water

Recipe

• 1 pare sweet potatoes and slice.
• 2 cut apples without peeling in thick slices. place the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish and sprinkle with half the salt.
• 3 add the sliced apples, sugar and cinnamon. arrange the lamb chops on the apples, and season with remaining salt, pepper and sage.
• 4 add hot water and bake in a moderate oven (350° f.) for about 1 hour, or until chops and potatoes are seasoned to taste, and are well done.
