Zesty Italian Wontons

Ingredients
- 6 ounces bulk italian sausage
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 4 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons parsley
- 40 wonton wrappers
- marinara sauce
Recipe
- 1 filling: in large skillet brown sausage and onion, breaking suasage into small pieces.
- 2 drain all fat from pan.
- 3 cool meat mixture.
- 4 stir in cheeses and parsley.
- 5 assembly: place a rounded teaspoon of filling into one corner of wrapper.
- 6 moisten edges with water.
- 7 fold wrapper over and seal edges together forming a triangle.
- 8 bring two points over the center and cross.
- 9 moisten and press together.
- 10 cover and chill or freeze if not frying immediately.
- 11 fry wontons a few at a time in deep hot oil until golden brown.
- 12 drain on paper towels.
- 13 serve with warm marinara sauce.
