Wife-savor Chili

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 (15 ounce) can light kidney beans
  • 1 (15 ounce) can dark red kidney beans
  • 1 (15 ounce) can navy beans
  • 1 (15 ounce) can black beans
  • 1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup grape tomatoes, sliced in half
  • 1 red pepper, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 cup spiced rum
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon cilantro
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Recipe

  • 1 brown ground beef and peppers in oil in a stockpot.
  • 2 add garlic, rum, beans, tomatoes, and bring to boil.
  • 3 add remaining ingredients, cover and cook on low for approximately 1 to 2 hours.
