Wok This Way

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 5
  • 1 1/2 lbs beef tips (or leftover steak cut into pieces)
  • 1 onion, chopped (preferably sweet)
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
  • 1 (6 1/2 ounce) can of pieces and stems mushrooms
  • 1 (12 ounce) jar heinz rich mushroom gravy
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

Recipe

  • 1 in a large skillet cook meat on medium heat with a few dashes of worchestershire sauce until fully cooked,(if using precooked meat slightly saute it).
  • 2 add onion,peppers and minced garlic. cook until onions have slightly golden edges, then add gravy and mushrooms.(you may want to put a small amount of water, like a 1/2 cup, in the gravy jar and shake up with the lid on and then add it to the skillet.)add another dash of worchestershire sauce and the onion powder and a few shakes of salt and pepper.
  • 3 mix it all together very well, making sure to get all the meat and veggies coated with gravy.
  • 4 reduce heat. simmer for about 10-15 minutes, stirring every few minutes.
