Sweet And Sour Meatballs

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb italian sausage meat
  • 1/2 cup italian seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg (slightly beaten)
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/8 cup vinegar
  • 1/8 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Recipe

  • 1 combine the sausage, bread crumbs and egg with your hands until well mixed and sticking together.
  • 2 form meatballs by hand and brown in a large skillet over medium/high heat.
  • 3 pour sauce over meatballs and simmer over medium/low heat for about 30 minutes.
  • 4 note: you will need to add a little water to the sauce as it cooks to avoid it getting too dry.
  • 5 serve over rice or just eat them plain!
