Southwestern Pulled Lamb

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 8 ounces green chilies, chopped
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 large sweet onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 2 1/2 lbs boneless lamb loin roast
- 8 whole wheat hamburger buns
Recipe
- 1 combine chilies, tomato sauce, bbq sauce, onion and seasonings in a 3 quart slow cooker. add lamb. cover and cook on low for 8 to 9 hours or until meat is tender. remove lamb and shred with two forks. return lamb to slow cooker and heat through. serve on whole wheat hamburger buns.
