Treacle Lamb Chops

Ingredients
- 2 lamb chops (bone-in)
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 fennel bulb (chopped)
- 2 -4 tablespoons treacle
Recipe
- 1 heat olive oil in a non-stick frying pan till warm add the chopped fennel and fry to infuse the oil with the flavor.
- 2 remove the fennel and set aside.
- 3 add the lamb chops and sear both sides. then turn down the heat to low and put 1-2 tbs. of the treacle on lamb chop. flip and add the same amount of treacle on this side. cover and let simmer about 20-30 minutes until lamb chops are done. (if you don't have a cover for your pan a piece of tin foil will do.).
- 4 when the lamb chops are done remove to rest on a plate, turn the heat up to med-high and add the fennel. cook down to a sauce, stirring constantly. serve over the lamb chops immediately.
