Weight Watcher's Turkey Sausage Patties

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 lb uncooked ground turkey breast
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil
  • 1/2 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth

Recipe

  • 1 combine turkey and dry spices in large bowl. mix together thoroughly.
  • 2 add chicken broth, mixing well. let stand 15-20 minutes.
  • 3 form turkey into 8 patties, approximately 3/4 inch thick.
  • 4 cook patties in non-stick skillet over medium heat 7-8 minutes on each side or until thoroughly cooked.
  • 5 รข€¢variations:.
  • 6 hot and zesty: add 1 tsp chili powder, 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper and 3 tbsp tomato paste.
  • 7 italian: add 1/2 tsp marjoram, 1/2 tsp coriander and 1/2tsp rosemary.
