Winning Scout Dutch Oven Casserole

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 4 cups sliced zucchini
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

Recipe

  • 1 brown beef and celery and remove with slotted spoon.
  • 2 saute zucchini in pan drippings until lightly browned and remove with slotted spoon.
  • 3 layer beef mixture and zucchini in dutch oven.
  • 4 sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • 5 stir worcestershire and sugar into tomato sauce and pour over casserole.
  • 6 sprinkle with cheese.
  • 7 cook over low fire for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
