Ingredients

- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1/2 onion, minced
- 1/4 cup tomato juice
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tomato, diced
- 3 radishes, diced
- 1 avocado, diced
- 1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 4 reduced-calorie hamburger buns
Recipe
- 1 preheat broiler (see note in description) and spray broiler pan with pam.
- 2 to make burgers, combine first 6 ingredients (beef - chili powder) plus 1/2 teaspoon salt and the pepper in a bowl, mixing with a wooden spoon or your hands. form into 4 patties.
- 3 place burger patties on broiler pan (see note in description) and cook until browned (5-10 minutes), turn and cook other side. during the last minute or so place burger buns on broiler pan and cook until toasted.
- 4 meanwhile prepare salsa by combining salsa ingredients (tomato - lime juice plus remaining 1/4 teaspoon salt) in a small bowl.
- 5 place burgers on buns topped with salsa.
