Toutierre (lamb Pie)

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 lb ground lamb (shoulder)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon clove
  • salt & pepper
  • 3 medium potatoes, boiled & mashed
  • 1 (9 inch) double crust pie crusts

Recipe

  • 1 fry onion in small amount of butter.
  • 2 add meat.
  • 3 stir until done.
  • 4 add seasoning, then potatoes. stir well.
  • 5 turn into a 9-inch pie shell & cover with top crust; slit.
  • 6 bake until crust browns.
