Ingredients
- whole chicken, 4-5 lbs
- 1/4 cup butter
- salt
- pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- barbecue sauce
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
Recipe
- 1 place whole chicken in a casserole dish. dry it off with paper towels.
- 2 brush with 1/4 cup melted butter and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- 3 bake at 450 for about an hour or until chicken reaches 170 degrees.
- 4 debone chicken and shred chicken.
- 5 place chicken in a crock pot and stir it in with the a bottle of sauce (i use sweet baby ray's), the sugar, and worcestershire sauce.
- 6 cook on low for 2 hours.
