Whiskey Sirloin Steak

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup whiskey or 1/4 cup apple cider
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 garlic clove, sliced thin
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 top sirloin steaks or 1 rib eye steak
Recipe
- 1 in a large container, combine all ingredients except the steak, and mix.
- 2 add the steak and turn to coat.
- 3 refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.
- 4 drain and discard the marinade.
- 5 place steak on a broiler pan coated with cooking spray.
- 6 broil 4 to 6 inches from the heat for 7 to 9 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness.
- 7 (for medium rare, a meat thermometer should read 145).
