Turkey Ragout With Wine

Ingredients

- 1 1/2 lbs turkey breast, cubed
- 1 (14 ounce) can plum tomatoes, chopped (do not drain)
- 1/2 cup dry wine
- 2 1/2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup sliced carrot
- 1/2 cup sliced celery
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1/2 teaspoon dried sage
- 1 -2 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 -4 tablespoons cold water
- salt and pepper
Recipe
- 1 combine all ingredients except cornstarch, water, salt and pepper in slow cooker. cover and cook 6-8 hours on low.
- 2 turn heat to high and cook 10 minutes; stir in combined cornstarch and water, stirring 2-3 minutes. season to taste with salt and pepper.
