Sweet And Smoky Meatballs

Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups dry breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper or 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 lbs lean ground beef
- 1 cup ketchup
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4-1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke
Recipe
- 1 in large bowl, beat eggs.
- 2 add the next five ingredients.
- 3 add beef;mix well.
- 4 shape into balls.
- 5 place in single layers on ungreased baking pans.
- 6 bake at 400 for 10-15 minutes or until no longer pink, turning often.
- 7 drain.
- 8 place meatballs into an ungreased 1 qt baking dish.
- 9 combine the sauce ingredients and pour over meatballs.
- 10 cover and bake at 350 for about 15-30 minutes.
- 11 stir to cover meatballs evenly with sauce.
