Yucatecan Lamb Chops

Total Time: 4 hrs 20 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 4 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 -6 boneless lamb loin chops
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 limes, juice of
  • 2 cups oil (for frying)

Recipe

  • 1 place lamb chops in a shallow dish and coat with dry ingredients.
  • 2 cover and refrigerate 2-3 hours.
  • 3 pour lime juice over lamb, cover and return to fridge 2-3 more hours.
  • 4 heat oil in a large pan on medium-high heat.
  • 5 fry lamb chops 6-8 minutes on each side and drain on paper towels.
  • 6 great with guacamole or pico de gallo.
