Wok Around The Clock

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 12 ounces lamb tenderloin
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 1/4 cup dry wine or 1/4 cup broth
  • 6 kumquats, unpeeled or 1/4 orange, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 green onion, bias-cut into 1/4-inch slices
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds, toasted

Recipe

  • 1 cut lamb tenderloin into 1/2" thick slices.
  • 2 heat oil in wok or large nonstick skillet.
  • 3 cook lamb in hot oil for 6 to 8 minutes.
  • 4 remove from pan.
  • 5 to hot pan, add wine and kumquats or orange slices and hoisin sauce.
  • 6 cook and stir 1 minute more.
  • 7 return lamb to pan.
  • 8 heat through.
  • 9 stir in onion and sesame seed.
