Sweet And Sour Lamb

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces pineapple chunks in juice
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 green pepper strip
  • 1 red pepper, strips
  • 1 onion, chunks
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 lb lamb, cubes
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup karo syrup
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup

Recipe

  • 1 drain pineapple, reseserve juice.
  • 2 heat oil in large skillet.
  • 3 saute' peppers and oinions for 3 minutes or until tender crisp.
  • 4 remove to bowl- keep warm.
  • 5 saute' lamb until done.
  • 6 add garlic saute 1 minute.
  • 7 in bowl mix pineapple juice, karo, vinegar, ketchup and corn starch,until smooth.
  • 8 return vegetables and pineaple to skillet with cooked lamb.
  • 9 add liquid to skillet.
  • 10 stir constantly, bring to boil over medium heat.
  • 11 cook 1 minute or until thickened.
  • 12 serve over rice.
