Swedish Cutlets (or Lamb Chops)

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 lamb chops
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • garlic salt
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 onion, finely minced
  • 6 slices roquefort cheese (generous slices)

Recipe

  • 1 rub a little gqrlic salt into the meat. season with salt and pepper. saute the chops in the oil until well-browned. remove to a hot platter, and pour on the juice from the pan.
  • 2 on each chop, put a heaping teaspoonfull of the onion. over that, put on the cheese (don't experiment with other cheeses).
  • 3 put in a hot (400 degree) oven for about 10 minutes. the cheese will melt; the cheese and onion will produce a very tasty sauce.
