Ingredients

- 1 small cabbage
- butter or margarine
- 1/2 lb leftover ham or 1/2 lb fried bacon
- 1 medium onion
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- salt and pepper
- 1/2 cup sugar
Recipe
- 1 boil cabbage in salt water until soft, drain and put into a frying pan with some butter.
- 2 add the cut up ham or fried bacon.
- 3 add onion, vinegar, salt, pepper and sugar.
- 4 simmer 1/2 hour.
- 5 i added 3 slices of bacon and the rest ham.
