Sweet And Sour Beef

Ingredients
- 1 (2 lb) boneless chuck roast
- 1/2 cup flour
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
- oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1/2 cup chili sauce
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 (16 ounce) package peeled baby carrots
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger
Recipe
- 1 cut beef into 1 inch cubes and dredge in flour, salt, and pepper.
- 2 in a skillet, brown beef in a little oil and place in slow cooker.
- 3 add remaining ingredients, except carrots, and 1 cup of water.
- 4 cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours.
- 5 add carrots and cook for 1 1/2 hours.
