Sweet And Sour Beef

Ingredients

  • 1 (2 lb) boneless chuck roast
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1/2 cup chili sauce
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 (16 ounce) package peeled baby carrots
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger

Recipe

  • 1 cut beef into 1 inch cubes and dredge in flour, salt, and pepper.
  • 2 in a skillet, brown beef in a little oil and place in slow cooker.
  • 3 add remaining ingredients, except carrots, and 1 cup of water.
  • 4 cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours.
