Swiss Seafood Canapes

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 180 g shrimp, small
  • 180 g crabmeat
  • 125 g swiss cheese, grated
  • 2 eggs, hard-cooked, chopped
  • 1/4 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon tabasco sauce
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1 loaf rye bread

Recipe

  • 1 in a large bowl, combine all ingredients except the bread.
  • 2 place bread on ungreased baking sheets. broil 4-6 inches from the heat for 1-2 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • 3 turn slices; and slice into quarters spread each with 1 rounded tablespoonful of seafood mixture. broil 4-5 minutes longer or until heated through.
