Sweet Crust Lamb Tapas

Total Time: 12 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 7 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 175 g tender lamb fillets
  • 5 ml english mustard
  • 30 ml light muscovado sugar
  • salt & freshly ground black pepper

Recipe

  • 1 preheat grill to high.
  • 2 slice lamb into 1cm rounds.
  • 3 sprinkle lamb generously with salt and pepper grill on one side until well browned.
  • 4 remove lamb from heat,spread with mustard.
  • 5 sprinkle the sugar evenly over lamb and return to heat.
  • 6 cook 2-3 minutes more until the sugar has melted but lamb is still pink in centre.
  • 7 serve with cocktail sticks.
