Spicy Afghan Meatball/kofta

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons split chickpeas
- 1 onion
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon coriander
- 3 cloves
- 1/2 inch cinnamon stick
- salt
- 1/2 kg mincemeat
Recipe
- 1 soak the split chickpeas for 10 min then boil till cooked.
- 2 put all the ingerdients except the mince into the blender and grind till smooth with a few tbsp water.
- 3 mix with the meat.
- 4 shape into 1/2 inch balls.
- 5 shallow fry in 1/2 inch of oil till brown.
