Tangy Leftover Lamb Hoagies

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 3
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/8 teaspoon mrs. dash seasoning mix (original)
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 small onion, slices thin
  • 2 medium mushrooms, sliced thin
  • 3/4 lb leftover lamb, slices chopped
  • 3 hoagie rolls (club rolls)

Recipe

  • 1 melt margarine in a large sauce pan over medium heat.
  • 2 add onions & mushrooms.
  • 3 sauté till onion is golden.
  • 4 add worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, sugar, paprika, mrs dash, cayenne.
  • 5 stir to blend.
  • 6 bring to a boil.
  • 7 stir often.
  • 8 add lamb allow to simmer until lamb is heated through.
  • 9 divide lamb & sauce on to 3 hoagies.
  • 10 serve.
