Spareribs With Black Beans And Chiles

Ingredients

- 1 lb spareribs, cut into bite-sized chunks
- 2 teaspoons light soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon shaoxing wine
- 1 teaspoon gingerroot, fresh finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon fermented black beans (purchase from asian market)
- 1 teaspoon chili flakes, to taste
Recipe
- 1 bring a large pan or wok of water to a boil over a high heat. add the ribs to blanch.
- 2 drain the ribs and place in a heatproof bowl with soy sauce, shaoxing wine, and ginger - mix. top with black beans and generous amounts of chili flakes.
- 3 steam ribs over high heat for 30 minutes or until cooked through.
