Sweet And Sour Venison And Rice

Total Time: 1 hr 20 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 lbs venison steak
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 2 teaspoons mustard
  • 2 teaspoons vinegar
  • 2 cups minute rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube
  • 2 cups frozen vegetables

Recipe

  • 1 brown venison steaks in vegetable oil.
  • 2 place steaks in baking dish. combine next five ingredients and rub over steaks. bake at 400 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes, basting with drippings every 10 minutes.
  • 3 while steaks are baking, during last 10 to 15 minutes, combine all remaining ingredients except the rice in a skillet. bring to a boil, add rice, cover and reduce heat to low for 5 minutes.
  • 4 serve steaks and sauce over rice and enjoy.
