Speckkartoffel (potatoes With Bacon)

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 6 ounces smoked bacon, finely cubed
  • 1 large onion, finely cubed
  • 1 1/4 lbs cooked potatoes, peeled and cut into medium slices
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 6 -7 tablespoons sour cream
  • salt
  • cracked pepper

Recipe

  • 1 in a skillet, melt the lard and briefly fry the onions and bacon.
  • 2 add the sliced potatoes and saute until golden brown.
  • 3 add salt and pepper to taste, and gently stir in the sour cream.
  • 4 serves 4.
