Tangy Bbq Lamb Roast (crock Pot)

Total Time: 6 hrs 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 6 hrs

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 -4 lbs boneless lamb roast
  • hamburger bun

Recipe

  • 1 combine all ingredients except roast and buns in the slow cooker.
  • 2 when well mixed, add roast.
  • 3 cover, cook on high for 6-7 hours.
  • 4 remove roast.
  • 5 shred the meat and return it to the sauce.
  • 6 mix again and then i drain the excess liquid so the meat mixture is not too runny.
  • 7 serve on buns.
